The Morgan City High School baseball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 10-0 victory in six innings against Assumption in Morgan City Tuesday.

This year’s Morgan City High School softball team is different.
First, its young — comprised mainly of freshmen and sophomores on the field.

Atchafalaya Golf Association tournament

The Atchafalaya Golf Association held a tournament April 10 at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild near Patterson. Every hole was converted to a Par 3 commemorating the Masters. Central Catholic will open 1A postseason against Ascension Christian

Central Catholic High School, the No. 12 seed in the Class 1A playoffs, will begin
postseason play today when it hosts No. 21 Ascension Christian in first-round
action at the Bayou Vista Community Center. Central Catholic enters the
matchup with a 15-12 overall mark, while Ascension Christian is 7-11 overall.

Central Catholic High School will begin Class 1A postseason softball action today when it hosts Ascension Christian in a bi-district round matchup set for a 5 p.m.
