MC 12s finish 0-2 at regional

Pony 13s conclude season at zone tourney

St. Mary’s Pony 13-year-old All-Stars concluded their season with a 1-2 finish at the Pony 13-year-old South Zone Tournament in Deer Park, Texas, this weekend. After winning its opener against Friendswood 3-2 in extra innings, the squad fell to Laredo 5-3 in a second round contest before dropping a 5-4 contest to Friendswood in a rematch in an elimination contest. Patterson, Morgan City 10s are 1-1 at regional

Patterson’s and Morgan City’s 10-year-old All-Stars are still alive at the Louisiana Dixie Youth AAA (Minors) North Regional. While Patterson dropped its first game to Shreveport, it rebounded with a win against Moss Bluff. Patterson will attempt to stave off elimination again when it meets South Sabine today at 5 p.m. at the Bayou Vista Community Center. Morgan City won its opener against Moss Bluff before falling to the Shreveport Americans. Morgan City also will be in action today at 5 p.m. against the Franklinton Americans in Bayou Vista.
