CCHS defeats LCA, 48-28

Central Catholic unleashed Samarick Paul on Lafayette Christian Academy Friday, and the senior led the Eagles to a 48-28 Division IV first-round playoff win.

Central Catholic swimmers to compete at state meet

Three Central Catholic High School swimmers have qualified for next week's state meet in Sulphur. From left are sophomore Wade Crappell, who qualified in the 50-yard freestyle; sophomore David Nugent, 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle, the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard individual medley; and freshmen Gunnar Theriot, the 50 yard freestyle.
