Berwick advances to bi-regionals

Berwick High School edged Houma Christian, 14-13, Tuesday in a loser’s bracket game at the South Central High School Bowling League Regional Tournament in Houma to advance to next week’s Bi-Regiona

Bowling regionals

The Morgan City High School Lady Tigers, the No. 3 seed at this year’s South Central High School Bowling League regional tournament, advanced to the bi-region round of the state bowling playoffs with an 18-9 victory against No. 6 seed South Terrebonne Tuesday at Creole Lanes in Houma. Hannah Pipes, above, led the squad with games of 190 and 189, according to www.bayoupreps.com.
