The Morgan City 11-year-old All-Stars will begin play Friday in the 11 Minors State Tournament in Ponchatoula against the host team.
American All Star Dance Service Company conducted a dance clinic for the Morgan City Junior High School Tigerettes June 23-27 at the school. The team learned dance routines to perform during the coming school year. Chosen best dancers were Alexandria Acosta and Henna Morgan and most spirited was Jayden Walker. Selected to attend various American All-Star functions during the year and to attend the London Goodwill Trip in November were Nia Lightfoot, Alexandria Acosta, Ashanta Williams, Henna Morgan, Jayden Walker, Aaliyah Davis, Alissa Julien and Serenity Prevost.
