Central Catholic High School’s Samuel Guarisco celebrates his game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh inning of Saturday’s Class 1A state championship game at McMurry Park in Sulphur while teammates run to mob him. Guarisco’s hit lifted the Eagles to an 8-7 victory against Oak Grove and the school’s first state baseball title since 2005. Central Catholic finished its season with a 28-4 mark.
