MCHS squeezes out 6-5 win against Berwick

MORGAN CITY — In a back-and-forth game, Morgan City had just enough to squeeze out a victory in a 6-5 win against Berwick Thursday at Tiger Diamond.

BHS Academic All-State composite honorees

Berwick High School students were recognized by the Louisiana High School Athletic Association by being placed on the all-state academic composite teams for their respective sports. To be placed on the teams, students must have earned a 4.0 through their first six semesters of high school while participating in the sport for two years. CCHS avoids CLA upset bid

Christian Life gave Central Catholic all it wanted, but in the end, the Eagles used a late-inning rally to top the visitors from Baton Rouge, 3-1.
