CCHS honors hoops teams

Lady Tigers advance to playoffs

The Morgan City High School Lady Tigers basketball team qualified for the Class 4A postseason. The Lady Tigers enter the playoffs as the No. 24 seed and will travel to take on No. 9 seed West Ouachita Thursday in a 6 p.m. contest. Lumberjills defeat St. James 47-41

The Patterson Lumberjills defeated St. James 47-41 in nondistrict action at St. James Tuesday.
Patterson took an 11-6 lead after the first quarter and led 22-14 at the half.
