Patterson blanked Berwick, 4-0, at home Friday in a continuation game from April 16. The game, which Patterson was leading 2-0, was called after the teams had already gone to the dugout for a lightning delay with Berwick batting with no outs in the top of the third inning and a runner on first.

Search for suspect in narcotics investigation continues; water search suspended

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division and Marine Division search Bayou Boeuf and the surrounding areas this morning for a suspect in a drug investigation who fled from narcotics detectives.

Though detectives are still trying to apprehend a 36-year-old Calumet man wanted on drug charges and for fleeing from detectives into Bayou Boeuf, the search of the bayou and surrounding waterways

Berwick gives tentative OK to two subdivisions
