St. Mary Community Action Agency Head Start parents, including several dads came to their child’s center Wednesday to participate in the “Healing Hands” project.
Drs. Steven McPherson and Donna Tesi’s contracts with Franklin Foundation Hospital were terminated Wednesday by the board that regulates the hospital. The physicians were each given a 90-day notice without cause in which time the board instructed hospital chief Executive Officer Claudia Eisenmann to renegotiate their contracts.

Berwick celebrates life, light and everything old Saturday

On Thursday, James Lacoste, Iris Berry, Belinda Berry Lacoste, and Eljean Nesmith were setting up at the Brown House Museum for the upcoming A Celebration of Life and Light event. The event will begin at the Brown House Museum located at 3326 Third St. in Berwick at 10 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. Saturday.
