Memorial Day weekend in Morgan City will feature a Freedom Fest and Freedom Ride Saturday and Sunday followed by a Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony Monday.

Australian, Kiwi travel agents visit Morgan City on Louisiana tour

A group of 14 travel agents and tour group operators from Australia and New Zealand stopped at the Cajun Coast Visitors and Convention Bureau Welcome and Interpretative Center Monday in Morgan City. The trip was part of a tour of Louisiana to promote a new nonstop flight from New Zealand to Houston. (The Daily Review/Zachary Fitzgerald)
