The Morgan City High School Tigers fell 53-52 to South Lafourche in overtime at Morgan City’s Tiger Classic Tuesday. While Morgan City led after the first three quarters, South Lafourche tied the game late via the free throw line to force overtime.

Early voting totals in St. Mary Parish neared 1,800 ballots cast through the third day of voting Tuesday, Registrar of Voters Jolene Holcombe said in a news release. A total of 1,774 people in St. Mary Parish cast votes by the end of early voting Tuesday, Holcombe said. Early voting began Saturday.
