A Morgan City investment holdings company filed a lawsuit Monday, the second suit the company has filed in a month, alleging an attorney aided and abetted the accused theft co-conspirators in the theft of property and property rights, a company spokesman said.

Homemaking Division awards were presented Saturday during the St. Mary Parish Junior Fair and Livestock Show held at the Franklin Senior High School cafeteria. Grand Champion Exhibitor was awarded to Kentraell Benjamin, top, and Reserve Champion Exhibitor was presented to Dezhanes Lastrape, below.

Men’s Wild Game Supper

Kevin Willis will be the speaker for the Men’s Wild Game Supper at Bayou Vista Baptist Church, 411 Field St., at 6 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10 per person. Children under 13 are admitted free. All money raised will be used for the Gulf Coast Baptist Association Disaster Relief Fund. The supper includes all kinds of wild game and a service follows. Willis grew up in Oakdale and now lives in Kinder, and is married to Cathy Elliott Willis. He has three children. He works in the forestry business and has served bi-vocationally with music and youth, and as pastor. Willis is an avid fisherman and hunter. He is the pastor of Indian Village Baptist Church near Kinder. There will be numerous door prizes. For more information, call 985-395-3070.
