Franklin’s Art Walk is Saturday from 3-6 p.m. in the downtown business district. Artists and authors will be at various businesses along Main Street with their works, and there will be musical entertainment at the lot next to Floors Etc. St.
Progressive Waste Solutions was a scheduled guest on Tuesday’s agenda for the Franklin City Council meeting. No representative was present, but Mayor Raymond Harris said that does not mean the company deliberately avoided appearing.
