Patterson blanked Berwick, 4-0, at home Friday in a continuation game from April 16. The game, which Patterson was leading 2-0, was called after the teams had already gone to the dugout for a lightning delay with Berwick batting with no outs in the top of the third inning and a runner on first.

Rhythms on the River returns at last

After a week’s delay on account of rain, the season’s Rhythms on the River finally got underway Friday with a performance by Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin’ Cajuns. This Friday’s schedule performer is Déjà Vu, a five-piece band from south Louisiana that covers Motown, country, disco, rock, 1980s, 1990s and dance music.
