Area legislators were the guests at a St. Mary Chamber of Commerce luncheon Wednesday in Franklin. Representative Beryl A. Amedee, (Dist. 51) was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives in November, 2015 and an “unprecedented” series of legislative sessions awaited.

Suspect’s identity sought in jail drop investigation

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to identify the man seen in this surveillance still Sunday. Berwick, Morgan City announced lineups for July 3 celebrations

Berwick’s “Rockin’ the Riverfront” will be Sunday.
