Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported this morning that a person was killed after being struck by a train Wednesday. Police responded to a 6:16 p.m. report of the incident at the railroad intersection with Tenth Street. The train was reportedly traveling west, and the victim was walking on the tracks, McGuire said.
