Surveillance photos show three suspects to the theft of a vacuum cleaner Monday at Walmart in Bayou Vista.

The identities of three suspects are being sought in connection with a theft of a vacuum cleaner Monday at Walmart, according to a news release on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office website.
On Monday evening, three males entered the Walmart Supercenter in Bayou Vista. While walking through the store, one of the suspects placed a handheld vacuum cleaner, valued at about $200, inside his shorts concealing the item, according to the release.
At about 11 p.m. Monday, the three males exited the store. The person wearing the black shirt with blue and white writing left the store with the vacuum cleaner without paying for the item, the release stated.
Deputies are seeking information on the identities of the three people captured on video surveillance. Anyone who may have information on this case may contact the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office at 985-384-1622 or 337-828-1960. Information may also be submitted to crimewatch@stmaryso.com.
