CCHS upsets Patterson 45-35

Central Catholic High School upset Patterson High School, 45-35, in high school boys’ basketball action Thursday in Morgan City. Central Catholic outscored Patterson 21-8 in the third quarter on its way to a 45-35 upset win against Patterson.

Lumberjills defeat St. James 47-41

Patterson took an 11-6 lead after the first quarter and led 22-14 at the half.

CCHS defeats Centerville

Central Catholic defeated Centerville 63-40 at E.D. White’s tournament Monday. The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Eagles, who improved to 3-7
