Lafayette Christian overwhelms Berwick, 43-13

Berwick High School fell to Lafayette Christian 43-13 Friday in Lafayette. After jumping out to a 7-0 lead, the Panthers couldn’t sustain the momentum. Meanwhile, Lafayette Christian rattled off 43 straight points, led by its ground game, for the easy victory. Above, Lafayette Christian’s Jeremy Joseph runs while pursued by the Berwick defense. Morgan City High School defeated Patterson High School 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-15) in District 6-III action Thursday.

Berwick rallies to defeat Franklin 23-14

Berwick High School picked up its first district victory of the season and in a few years when it defeated Franklin 23-14 Thursday in Berwick.
