The royal toast on Berwick Bay was true to tradition Sunday morning as it concluded the 75th Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival’s Blessing of the Fleet and Boat Parade. From the bow of the Lil’ Wilson, left, Queen Lani Marie Bergeron toasted Festival King Allie “Al” Adams III, who was standing on the bow of the Miss Vickie. The Lil’ Wilson is owned by Wilson Acosta and the Miss Vickie belongs to Arthur Rulf. The Rev. Danny Poche of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City was the celebrant for the festival’s Diamond Jubilee.
