42Five to perform in Morgan City May 7
NASHVILLE, Tenn. –— A cappella hipsters 42Five will perform their energy-infused five-part harmony program at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium in Morgan City at 7:30 p.m. May 7.
Adult season ticket prices are $45, and students kindergarten through 12th-grade the price is just $10. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling 985-385-2307. This is the final concert for the current season.
The Community Concert Association of Morgan City Inc. announced six concerts for the 2013-14 concert season including a performance by the incomparable Hal Linden. Season tickets for the six-concert series are $45 for adults and $10 for students K-12. New subscribers will be admitted free to the 42Five concert.
Based in Orlando, Fla., 42Five delivers a roller coaster ride of death-defying vocal harmonies. The five-member male vocal group easily strides through a myriad of musical styles, from doo-wop to hip-hop. Their flawless vocal stylings are only matched by their signature humor and on-stage antics. Many of the members boast professional credentials from the amusement park and cruise ship industries based in Florida. 42Five creates their own arrangements, as well as engineering and producing each of their four recordings. Beginning 2013 the band will record and perform under the name “Voiceplay.”
The Community Concert Association of Morgan City Inc. was formed in 1947 and continues to bring world-class entertainment to the Tri-City area of Morgan City, Berwick and Patterson, as well as the rest of St. Mary Parish and surrounding parishes. Strong patron, adult and student memberships help insure continuing concerts for the area.
